Bali International Tens Rugby 2002
On
behalf of Woollahra Colleagues RUFC, Sydney, and in particular
those boys who were with me in Bali for the 10's, I would like
to extend my deepest sympathies and condolences to those Clubs
and families who either lost or had players, friends and family
injured on that terrible night. Colleagues were highly fortunate
to not lose any players in Bali and while we count our blessings,
we feel for all of you who have been affected in many ways by
this cowardly act.
We also would like to thank the Bali 10's organisers for their
tireless efforts following that Saturday night. Our thoughts are
also with you for the enormous burden you have had to carry.
Colleagues would like to offer any form of assistance that we
can to help victims of the Bali bombing so please do not hesitate
to contact us to assist with any fund-raising activities or requirements
for help.
Thank you all for not only showing the truly great camaraderie
involved in playing rugby, but also the spirit that can exist
between people of different nations.
Yours in rugby,
Lachlan Benson
