Saturday March 14 will see two visiting rugby clubs run out on Blue Giant Stadium for the first time in a long time. In a contrast of travel times to reach Woollahra No.2 Oval next Saturday, local rugby partners the Eastern Suburbs Rugby Club will make a short walk across the 6th fairway of the Woollahra Golf Course, whilst Queanbeyan Rugby Club will take a three hour drive up the Hume Highway.
The three clubs are meeting for round robin trial matches a few weeks before their respective seasons kick off.
The round robin will see Colleagues Kentwell, Burke, Widdon and Barbour teams, Easts Colts, 3rd, 4th and 5th Grades and Queanbeyans 1st & 2nd Grade play four matches throughout the day, with kick off times to be confirmed this week.
Rough kick off times will be;
11:30am for Widdon
12:40pm for Barbour
2:10pm for Burke
3:55pm for Kentwell
